GLYCOLIC ACID 8% – Due to its low molecular weight, it is one of the most effective AHA acids in anti-age procedures. It is able to penetrate all layers of the epidermis, down to the dermis, and has a multifunctional effect on the skin: 1) Exfoliating – destroys the bonds between the scales, which promotes their exfoliation. Loosens the keratinized mouths of the sebaceous glands, facilitating the evacuation of the contents of the sebaceous ducts. 2) Rejuvenating – stimulates the activity of fibroblasts, activates collagen synthesis. Improvement of synthetic processes in the dermal layer leads to thickening of the dermis and improvement of the structure of the intercellular matrix. 3) Moisturizing – stimulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid in the epidermal and dermal layers, which binds and retains water in the skin, increasing its hydration level and reducing transepidermal moisture loss. 4) Anti-inflammatory – the antioxidant properties of glycolic acid allow it to affect inflammation mediators, reducing their production. It also eliminates hyperkeratosis, normalizes sebum secretion due to an indirect effect on the differentiation of keratinocytes, which allows it to be used in acne treatment protocols, and is also effective in correcting hyperpigmentation of any origin.

REVINAGE® – A plant-based retinoid-like active ingredient based on Bidens pilosa extract obtained by supercritical CO₂ extraction and enriched with phytol (a precursor of phytanic acid). The mechanism of action is retinoid-like without the typical irritation.

The key bioactive is phytanic acid, formed from phytol in the skin; it binds to RXR (retinoid X receptor) and modulates the expression of genes involved in keratinocyte proliferation/differentiation and extracellular matrix synthesis. Unlike classic retinoids, which activate RAR and often cause dermatitis, Revinage® targets RXR and exhibits “retinol-like” effects with a lower risk of irritation.

Current in vitro/3D skin data also confirm that combinations with Bidens pilosa extract activate RXR-α without activating RAR-γ; increase the synthesis of collagen (COL1A1, COL4A1, COL5A1, COL7A1), elastin components (elastin, fibrillin-1), reduce MMP-1, reduce oxidative stress and UV-induced inflammation (IL-6, IL-1α).

KERATOLINE™ – A gentle enzyme peel active based on Bacillus subtilis that provides safe exfoliation, evens out texture, brightens tone, gently cleanses pores and reduces the appearance of minor imperfections. Particularly suitable for mature, sensitive or reactive skin, as well as for products that should emphasize radiance and smoothness. Keratoline and glycolic acid provide a combined multi-mechanism: the acid action chemically reduces the adhesion between keratinocytes, and the enzyme destroys protein “bridges” by proteolysis. The result is a more complete and at the same time gentle cleansing of the surface, which is important for aging skin with hyperpigmentation. Enzymatic activity promotes the activation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts, stimulating the synthesis of key structural proteins: collagen I and III, elastin and glycosaminoglycans. This maintains the firmness and elasticity of the skin, which is especially important for mature and damaged skin.

EDELWEISS EXTRACT – A delicate alpine component with high biological activity and a unique dermatological profile. Edelweiss is a unique plant that grows in extreme highland conditions (at an altitude of 1,500 to 3,000 m), where it produces powerful protective and adaptogenic mechanisms to survive high insolation, temperature changes and moisture deficiency. These properties formed the basis for its use in cosmetology.

The extract is obtained from flowers and leaves, the richest in phenolic acids, flavonoids and leontopodial acid – biomolecules with high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity.

Leontopodic acid (Leontopodic acid A and B) is an exclusive marker of edelweiss, which has a powerful antioxidant, vasoconstrictive and anti-inflammatory effect. Chlorogenic acid reduces oxidative stress, inhibits lipid peroxidation, and has a photoprotective effect. Flavonoids (apigenin, luteolin, quercetin) stabilize capillaries, normalize microcirculation, and reduce swelling and redness. Phenolic compounds regulate inflammatory mediators, block MMP (metalloproteinases) that destroy collagen.

Edelweiss extract acts as a natural antioxidant with an efficiency comparable to or superior to vitamin C and coenzyme Q10. Neutralizes reactive oxygen species (ROS) that arise under the influence of UV, aggressive procedures, inflammation, reduces the level of chronic microinflammation, which plays a key role in age-related skin changes, and protects mitochondrial DNA from oxidative damage.

The anti-inflammatory and soothing effect of the extract is manifested primarily in the inhibition of the release of proinflammatory mediators. It helps reduce the activity of NF-κB, the main transcription factor of inflammation, reduce the expression of IL-1, IL-6 and TNF-α, thereby reducing redness, irritation, itching, and also suppresses mast cell degranulation and histamine release.

Due to the high content of flavonoids and leiontopodic acid, the strength of capillary walls increases, the tendency to rosacea and stagnant erythema decreases, microcirculation improves, promoting active nutrition of cells and the outflow of inflammation products.

LADY’S MANTLE EXTRACT – Its uniqueness lies in the high content of phenolic compounds (flavonoids, tannins, phenolic acids), as well as vitamins and minerals with powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Alchemilla flavonoids neutralize free radicals formed under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, pollution and stress. This reduces oxidative stress – a key trigger of premature aging. Tannins have a vasoconstrictor effect, improve microcirculation in the skin, which contributes to better nutrition and detoxification of tissues. The extract reduces inflammatory reactions, redness and irritation, which is especially important for aging and photodamaged skin prone to increased reactivity. Alchemilla polyphenols inhibit the activity of enzymes (collagenase, elastase) that destroy structural proteins of the dermis. This helps maintain the density and elasticity of the skin. Tannins form a thin protective film on the surface of the epidermis, which reduces transepidermal moisture loss and enhances barrier properties. Thus, alchemilla extract is very useful in the care of aging skin: it prevents the appearance of wrinkles by preserving collagen and protecting against free radicals; increases resistance to photoaging due to antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action; maintains elasticity and firmness of the skin by normalizing the synthesis of dermal protein, gives freshness and an even tone by improving microcirculation and reducing microinflammation.

Apply the mask to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area. During exposure, the patient may feel a slight tingling sensation. Leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. For home care, use 1-2 times a week for maximum effect.
Do not use on damaged skin, with dermatitis in the acute stage and fresh post-procedural injuries.
