CAFFEINE (5%) – Powerful hydrophilic active with low molecular weight. The main biochemical mechanism of its action is the inhibition of the phosphodiesterase enzyme, which leads to the accumulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) inside the cells, which starts the cascade of splitting triglycerides into fatty acids and glycerol. Clinical studies confirm that in this concentration, caffeine acts as an effective lipolytic of indirect action, significantly reducing the volume of adipocytes in the superficial fat compartments of the face without destroying cell membranes. This eliminates the risk of tissue necrosis or severe fibrosis, making it safe for delicate correction of areas of malar bags, nasolabial folds and submental area.

At the same time, caffeine has a pronounced vasoactive effect. It stimulates the smooth muscle cells of the vascular wall, causing short-term vasoconstriction followed by capillary expansion, which significantly accelerates local blood flow and enhances microcirculation. Thanks to this, the draining function is activated: excess fluid from the intercellular space is quickly evacuated into the lymphatic channel. In clinical practice, it gives instant anti-edematous effect and eliminates facial puffiness, especially in the sensitive periorbital area. Studies also show an improvement in tissue oxygenation by 25-30% after course use, which is visually expressed in the elimination of signs of chronic hypoxia and dull skin color.

In terms of antiaging therapy, 5% caffeine works as a powerful antioxidant. It neutralizes oxygen free radicals and protects keratinocytes from damage caused by UVA and UVB radiation, reducing the risk of photoaging. It has been clinically proven that caffeine is able to slow down glycation processes, thanks to which the natural framework and elasticity of the dermis is supported. Its tonic effect on microvessels helps restore elasticity to the skin, reducing signs of laxity in the deformation aging type.

FUCUS EXTRACT – An extract obtained from brown algae, which has a unique set of macro- and microelements, amino acids and polysaccharides. Promotes powerful stimulation of cellular metabolism due to high bioavailability of organic iodine. Iodine acts locally as an indirect lipolytic: it activates fat cell receptors and accelerates metabolic processes in subcutaneous fat tissue, helping caffeine break down triglycerides more effectively. As a result, there is a noticeable reduction in the volume of local fat deposits and relief of “heavy” areas of the face.

Another important mechanism of action of fucus extract is its pronounced osmotic and draining activity, due to the high content of alginates and fucoidan. These polysaccharides attract and bind stagnant fluid in the intercellular space, facilitating its removal through the lymphatic system. Fucoidan additionally stimulates the synthesis of collagen of the first and third types by fibroblasts, and also inhibits the activity of elastase and collagenase enzymes, which destroy the skin matrix.

In addition, the extract has strong vasoprotective properties. It helps change the walls of small capillaries and regulate their permeability, which stops the repeated transudation of fluid into the tissues and serves prevention of the development of couperosis. The rich mineral composition of fucus (including iron, manganese, zinc and magnesium) works as an antioxidant shield, neutralizing free radicals and reducing the level of micro-inflammation.

IVY EXTRACT – One of the most powerful natural lymphotonic and anti-edematous components, it is characterized by a high content of specific plant glycosides – saponins (in particular, hederin). Saponins have a unique ability to increase the elasticity of lymphatic vessels and activate their contractility. This leads to a rapid and forced outflow of stagnant intercellular fluid from the tissues into the lymphatic channel. At the same time, ivy extract shows high vasoprotective activity due to the presence of flavonoids such as rutin and quercetin. They reduce the fragility and permeability of capillaries, block the processes of fluid extravasation into the intercellular space, which prevents the recurrence of edema. Clinical studies confirm that the bioactive substances of ivy are able to inhibit the action of the enzyme hyaluronidase, which destroys the skin’s own hyaluronic acid. Thanks to this, the integrity of the intercellular matrix is preserved, the tone and density of the skin is improved, which is especially important for patients with a deformation-edematous type of aging and heavy lower third of the face.

CENTELLA ASIATICA EXTRACT – It is distinguished by a high content of triterpene saponins (asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic and madecassic acid), which promotes the activation of the synthesis of collagen of the first and third types, as well as elastin and fibronectin. The component demonstrates high vascular activity, strengthens the walls of blood vessels, improves their tone and stimulates microcirculation. By activating peripheral blood circulation and normalizing the permeability of capillaries, centella blocks the extravasation of fluid into the intercellular space, eliminating the root cause of chronic edema. Centella extract exhibits unique anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory properties, enabling it to suppress the activity of pro-inflammatory cytokines and lipoxygenase, thereby rapidly interrupting the inflammatory cascade.
